The SurgiLock® Positioning Foam is coated with our patented ElasTak® adhesive polymer technology which is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, green based and made in the USA. It is imperative during surgical procedures that patients and/or patients’ limbs don’t move which could cause undue stress or injury to the patient.

There was an incidence of a displaced instrument 30% of the time in cases that lasted 2 hours. If the case went 5 hours or more, there was an 85% incidence of drops. I didn’t measure the cost for duplication – Bovie/electrocautery, suctions, irrigation as these are low-cost items. However, the real savings is in OR time. It costs $300/minute in the OR. If the nurse has to take 5-10 minutes to locate and activate an item for the field, it is a huge savings to have a SurgiLock® pad.
