SurgiLock® Positioning Foam is a patent pending, disposable one-time-use padding, which, provides an unparalleled solution to the Medical Community. We have partnered with a World Famous medical grade foam company who's patented Biodegradable Polyurethane Foam is environmentally friendly. Within 36 months it's virtually dissolved, making it earth friendly.
We use our soy based, environmentally friendly, elastomer, called ElasTak to coat the Biodegradable Polyurethane Foam creating SurgiLock® Positioning Foam.
Environment
The foam used to create SurgiLock® Positioners is stable, but is made to decompose when deposited in landfills. Decomposition occurs through a process called, BioActive Hydrolysis, in which, bacteria and fungus in the landfill's soil consumes the foam.
In contrast, traditional polyurethane foam can remain in landfills unchanged for hundreds of years while potentially degrading the quality of the soil and groundwater.

SurgiLock® Positioning Foam is a revolutionary group of products that is transforming the way surgical teams secure patients and patients’ limbs during surgical procedures.
SurgiLock® Positioning Foam is coated with our patented ElasTak® adhesive polymer technology to provide an aggressive tack for securing patients. It is imperative that patients and/or patients’ limbs don’t move during surgical procedures. Unwanted movement can cause injury and other negative outcomes to the patient and undue stress to the patient and staff.
Our patented Elastak® adhesive polymer is soy based, environmentally friendly, and made in the USA.
• Current positioning foam does not effectively secure patients and/or patients’ limbs as well as required during surgical procedures. When patients slide on the operating table there can be injury to the patient and additional liability to the surgical team and healthcare facility.
• Our SurgiLock® Positioning Foam is coated with our patented ElasTak® coating which holds the patient and/or patients’ limbs in place.
• Currently surgical teams can spend precious prep time prior to a procedure securing a patient. Using our SurgiLock® Positioning Foam can drastically reduce set up prep time and eliminate the need to reposition patients that have slid on the operating table.
• Tape currently used with conventional positioning foams can leave residue on the skin. Our SurgiLock Positioning Foam will not leave residue on patients.
