1. Open the package and allow SurgiLock® Positioning foam to expand.
2. For prone and supine position.
A. Remove and discard the release liner from the bottom of the shaped head positioner by pinching the corner of the foam, grasping the release liner, and pulling it off.
B. Place the shaped head form directly onto the surgical bed in the desired position following the facility protocols, and anesthesiologist preferences.
3. For lateral position.
A. Remove and discard the release liner from both the shaped head positioner and the 2’’ spacer by pinching the corner of the foam grasping the release liner and pulling it off.
B. Place the 2’’ spacer directly on the surgical bed in the desired position following the facility protocols and anesthesiologist preference. place the shaped head positioner on top of
the 2’’spacer.
4. Important: DO NOT leave any table covers, linens, other transfer devices or materials between SurgiLock® foam and surface of the surgical table. SurgiLock® positioners must contact the
surface the table pad.
