1. Open the package and allow SurgiLock® positioning foam to expand.
2. Place 59” Strap Pad.
A. Remove and discard the release liner from both sides of the pad by pinching the corner of the foam, grasping the release liner, and pulling it off.
B. Place the pad in the desired location on surgical table or patient.
C. SurgiLock® Foam pad can be used on top (chest) of patient or placed directly on surface of the Torso Pad – Discretion of the surgical team.
3. Transfer of patient to and from SurgiLock® Foam. When transferring patient via lift sheet onto SurgiLock® Foam on surgical table, follow facility protocols. Turn patient on his/her side.
Move sheet to center of table, rotate patient back on opposite side remove sheet, place patient directly on SurgiLock® Foam so it has direct contact with patient skin.
