Indications for use: The SurgiLock® Baseline Cervical Strap kit is to be used to help position patients during cervical spine surgery.
Content: 1- 20’’ x 24’’ Torso Pad, 1- Standard Head Positioner, 1- 59’’ Strap Pad
1. Open the package and allow SurgiLock® positioning foam to expand.
2. Remove release liner from the bottom of each positioner prior to placement.
3. Place the foam positioner as indicated.
4. Remove the remaining release liner from each positioner.
5. Patient can now be positioned on the surgical bed. After positioning.
6. At this point the patient’s head can be secured as shown using the Velcro strap and foam pad supplied.
7. Secure the patients arms using the supplied arm strap by lifting the patient’s arms, placing the strap across the patient’s chest, looping them around both elbows and tucking the tails as shown.
8. Place the supplied shoulder pads as shown.
9. Place the supplied shoulder straps as shown.
