Content: 1- 20’’ x 24’’ Torso Pad, 1- Standard Head Positioner, 1- 59’’ Strap Pad
1. Open the package and allow SurgiLock® positioning foam to expand.
2. Remove and discard the release liner from both sides of the Jelly Wrap™ positioner by pinching the corner of the foam, grasping the release liner, and pulling it off.
3. Place the Jelly Wrap™ positioner.
A. Align the edge of the Jelly Wrap™ positioner with the center of the inner elbow.
B. Wrap the positioner around the arm.
C. Check for proper alignment of the patient’s arm, while also monitoring the placement of the patient’s IV lines, oximeters, etc., making sure these are all accessible. Adjust positioner if necessary. Follow all safety protocols of the facility.
D. Repeat steps 1-4 for the patient’s other arm.
