It is imperative that patients and/or patients’ limbs don’t move during surgical procedures. Unwanted movement can cause injury and other negative outcomes to the patient and undue stress to the patient and staff.

1. Open the package and allow SurgiLock® positioning foam to expand.
2. Place the Standard Head positioner or Trendelenburg Head Positioner.
A. Remove and discard the release liner from the bottom of the Head Positioner by pinching the corner of the foam, grasping the release liner, and pulling it off.
B. Place the head positioner directly onto the surgical bed in the desired position following the facility protocols and anesthesiologist preference.
3. Important: DO NOT leave any table covers, linens, other transfer devices or materials between SurgiLock® foam and surface of the surgical table. SurgiLock® Positioner must contact the surface
of the table pad.
